Dr. Pawel Chomej has been using the minimally invasive (MIS) technique to correct foot deformities for 8 years now. He is a pioneer of this surgical technique in Saxony and has successfully performed over 3500 operations to date.
He is recognized by both German foot surgery societies (D.A.F. and GFFC) as a specialist in the field of minimally invasive foot surgery and promotes the technique as an instructor and speaker at national and international surgery courses and congresses.
On the right picture you can see the result of a minimally invasive hallux valgus correction surgery on the first postoperative day.
On the picture you see yellow circles around the skin incisions of the MIS technique. These are no longer visible after a few weeks.
The blue lines show skin incisions as they would have been used in conventional surgery.
